Swirl of yellow petticoat,
crimson dreg of passion
at the bottom of the heart
for her man in the plains.
With unsagging love
she flounces dream like pleats,
instep arching she kisses him,
bares pollens of desire:
dusts of sun on
the expanse of blue.

Day 7
In response to Morning Porch entry,
NaPoWriMo (write a poem inspired by a song)
This is the song that inspired my poem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiUZUMRnsWU

Oh, that’s a much sexier flower than a Dutch tulip!
These lines —
she flounces dream like pleats,
instep arching she kisses him
–especially, are to die for!
